Tidy desk – a behind the scenes look at my studio.

So today I tidied my desk a bit and thought I’d show you how I have it set up so that I can pack my orders easily each day.

guide to my desk space
I’m lucky to have a really big desk, so there’s room for everything I need.
This is the space next to me when I sit at my desk.
This is the area behind my desk, so everything is within easy reach for packing orders.
I store my cards, notebooks, mugs and temporary tattoos on the other side of the room.

New Japan Collection available now!

I visited Japan in 2016, it was incredible and it’s somewhere I’ve always wanted to go. Following on from last year’s Bonsai print I have a new collection available which combines some of my favourite bits of our trip along with some things we didn’t quite manage to see (the snow monkeys will have to wait for our next visit!).

Etsy House

In December I was lucky to have my work selected for Etsy House, the first Etsy pop up shop in London which was open 5th-7th December and went really well, though I didn’t get chance to pop down for it. They made a video of Etsy House here:

It’s now too late for delivery by Christmas.

I will be posting all orders out within 3 working days over the holiday period. Please take into account possible delays caused by bank holidays over this time.

UK – Thursday 18th December

Asia, Far East (including Japan), New Zealand – Monday 1st December

Australia – Tuesday 2nd December

Africa, Caribbean, Central & South America, Middle East – Wednesday 3rd December

Cyprus, Eastern Europe, Greece – Friday 5th December

Canada, Poland – Saturday 6th December

USA – Wednesday 10th December

Western Europe (excluding Greece, Poland) – Thursday 11th December

GIFTS: Just let me know if you are having an order sent straight to someone as a gift, I can gift wrap the items in tissue paper and I can also include a little note from you if you let me know what you’d like it to say. Either write your instructions in the ‘note to seller’ bit when you place the order.

Happy holidays!!!

Where I work

After 6 months of working in my  lovely new home studio I thought I’d give a little peek at where I work…

Revealing Craft…help get a book made!

A while ago now, photographer India Hobson visited my home studio with her camera, this was all part of an exciting project with Folksy to produce a really lovely book with the help of Sheffield based publishers du.st. We are currently trying to raise funds for this project and that’s where you can help…  by pledging £17 or more you will get your own copy of the book and various extras the more money you can pledge .

The photographic work has already been done and a prototype book designed. Find all the info here about how to support the kickstarter project to fund the production and publishing of the 1st edition book, shipped in the UK in time for Christmas.

“Revealing Craft is a photographic project, about how the slow stuff gets made, the things that take time, skill and effort. It is a largely invisible world of small home studios, spare rooms and kitchen tables and of expert techniques learnt over thousands of hours of practice often handed down from generations.”
